The Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) is one of the nation's premier
horse shows, dating back to 1958. The six-day long event includes show jumping, hunter and equitation competitions,
and numerous exhibitions, including dressage, terrier races, and other equestrian activities.
Riders and horses have to qualify at other horse shows throughout the year in order to compete at Washington. So,
Washington features the best of the best riders and horses from around the country, and often also includes top
international competitors. Many Olympic contenders and metalists compete here. The event is held each October at
the Verizon Center in downtown Washington, D.C.

Action Video Productions has provided the video services for the Washington Shows since 1994. We offer individual
rounds, entire classes, and exhibitions from each year. We also are able to upload horseshow rounds to YouTube.
In the Washington Equitation Classic, top junior riders compete in a two-phase competition. All riders show in the Hunter Phase
and in the Jumper Phase. The top 10 competitors in the first two rounds then compete in a Final Work-Off. This
equitation is available on DVD each year, 1999 to present.
We also offer DVD's of the entire night's performances for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights for only $29.95/night.
And the popular Terrier Races are available each night.
